Alex Coatsworth, MSW
Dr. Giulia-Anna Perri is a palliative care physician, consultant and medical director for palliative care at Baycrest. Her practice is focused on geriatric palliative care which reflects her passion for care of the elderly and end of life. She is a clinician-educator with a varied undergraduate and post-graduate teaching practice and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Palliative Care, Department of Family Medicine and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.
 
Alex Coatsworth is a social worker in the Seniors Counselling and Referral Program. She has a Master of Social Work degree in Gerontology from the University of Toronto and has been working with older adults for the past 12 years. Alex has worked at Baycrest for six years in various positions including in palliative care, long-term care, and inpatient psychiatry. She is passionate about helping others and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, hiking, travelling and reading.
