Generation Next is a motivated group of professionals in their 40’s and 50’s who support Baycrest’s work in research, innovation, care and education.  We are passionate about making a difference in our communities by raising awareness to support Baycrest’s fight to defeat dementia.

Decades Dance

The inaugural Decades Dance is an annual event that invites guests to enjoy an evening themed upon a different decade each year. At Baycrest, we are helping our community age fearlessly, so it is fitting to host an event that celebrates different eras in history.

This year, we will be transported to 1970’s New York city when getting into the Studio 54 would earn guests instant celebrity status. Getting past the velvet rope meant you were in for the best night ever! Don your polyester jumpsuits, chiffon dresses, bell bottoms, and metallic wrap dresses and let’s dance the night away! Join us for a fun night of cocktails, disco music, and lots of glitter all in the name of supporting Baycrest’s incredible work in aging brain health.

Our Mission

Fundraising from this year’s event will support the purchase of five new OBIE projectors that will be used by residents at Baycrest. OBIE is a highly advanced interactive gaming console that projects custom-made games onto any surface,  encouraging active play through touching, moving and hand-eye coordination skills on the displayed images. It integrates cognitive, physical, and social stimulation for residents at Baycrest.
